Canvas Tote Bags, Created From The Walls of Our Studio

These high quality canvas tote bags are one of a kind pieces created from the walls of our art studio.

The Backstory:

Once a year, we refresh our studio space and put fresh white canvas on the walls, and we take the canvas that’s been painted throughout that year down, then we upcycle it into these beautiful tote bags.

That means that every one of these tote bags is completely unique. Each bag has been painted during more than 1500 Splatter Charlotte experiences, by over 3000 people over the course of the year.

Local clothing makers Jesse Titus from @Block_Benefits and the leather workers from @leatherbond_ produced these bags by hand, making them a product of local artisans who are creating in Charlotte every day.

They are made by the community, for the community.

The bookstore tote (left) is the smallest of the three, purse sized and great for the essentials. The bucket tote (middle) has a round bottom and is perfect for arts and craft supplies like yarn. The beach tote (right) is the largest of the three and is grocery bag sized, perfect for a trip to Trader Joe's.
